Red squirrels, roe deer, buzzards, and spectacular vistas of the Eden Valley and the North Pennines may all be found just outside your door. Little light pollution means it's ideal for stargazing at night, and if that wasn't enough, a short drive will have you hiking up one of the many fells or splashing around in one of the lakes. With stunningly breath-taking views of the Eden Valley and a plethora of attractions within a short drive.  The surrounding hikes in the woods and the tranquil surroundings are particularly appealing.
