It’s worth venturing off-site just to pay a visit to Wiseman’s Bridge, which is within walking distance and is known for its rock pools, which are great for keeping the kids entertained, and the Wisemen’s Bridge Inn is a lovely place to stay awhile and enjoy good food and a few drinks on the waterfront.

Within walking distance along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path lies the lovely little village of Saundersfoot, which has an excellent selection of shops and amenities, and its wide, sandy beach is a popular destination in the summer months. If you want to venture a little further afield for some family attractions, check out Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo, Dinosaur Park, Colby Woodland Garden and Great Wedlock Farm and Deer Park. There are so many delightful towns and villages to enjoy while in the area, so why not take a little road trip and call in at places such as Tenby, Fishguard (great for walks and watersports), St David’s (known for its fantastic scenery) and Haverfordwest?
