Places to visit during a static caravan holiday at Lyons Robin Hood caravan park

It’s unlikely that you’ll run out of things to do on your Lyons Robin Hood holiday but if you do, the seaside town of Rhyl and North Wales offers some great family-friendly attractions and activities to make the most of your time away from home. Just a ten minute drive along the coast from the park is the Marine Lake is a must for anyone who likes to spend time on the water. The 12-hectare lake has sailing, water skiing and kayaking to try and those who prefer to stay dry can enjoy a 20 minute scenic walk around North Wales’ only salt lake. While you’re at the lake, head to Pont-y-Ddraig Harbour Bridge, also known as Cross Dragon’s Bridge, which is a five-minute walk from there and watch the unusual way the bridge opens and shuts for the boats. For a spectacular view, take a 12 minute drive to Dyseth Waterfall and see the water cascading for 70 feet before making its way to the River Clwyd. The waterfall is full of history and intrigue so well worth a visit! Parking is available at the Dyseth Falls Car Park. There are also a number of other holiday parks nearby - such as Golden Sands Kimnel Bay which is packed with activities for all the family to enjoy and Marine Holiday Park which has an exciting indoor swimming pool.
