Caravan holidays in Blackpool

Blackpool

A caravan holiday to Blackpool promises guests an affordable and flexible break, where they can enjoy all the sights and sounds of the vibrant seaside town that attracts millions of visitors a year!

Why Book A Caravan Holiday In Blackpool

Best known for its famous seafront, the iconic Blackpool Tower is an enduring symbol of the town’s popularity. Worth a visit in its own right, Blackpool Tower offers panoramic views, and on a clear day, visitors are treated to sights of North Wales, the Lake District, and even the Isle of Man. If you dare, then walk out onto the Skywalk, a glass viewing platform 380 feet above the ground, where you will be rewarded with some simply sublime views! Anyone who’s a Strictly Come Dancing fan will be familiar with the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom, known for its unique sprung floor. It is a Mecca for ballroom fans worldwide and a must-see when at Blackpool Tower. Make sure you check out the Blackpool Tower Dungeon with its scary rides and walk-through experience, and to top the day off, have a go at some mini-golf and then take a trip to the Blackpool Tower Circus, which has been entertaining people for 125 years with acts from all over the world.

Places TO Visit During Blackpool Caravan Holidays

Any holidaymakers coming to Blackpool must pay a visit to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, one of the UK’s top tourist attractions, which hosts over five million visitors a year. With more than 20 rides suitable for children of any age or height and ten rollercoaster rides (more than any other UK park), Blackpool Pleasure Beach is also home to Nickelodeon Land, a children’s theme park with 12 fantastic rides and the opportunity to meet characters from everyone’s favourite TV channel. White knuckle rides the theme park is known for include Avalanche, the Big Dipper, Valhalla, Grand National and the Big One.

For something weird and wonderful, discover the delights of Ripley’s Believe It or Not exhibition and a schedule of live entertainment with everything from adult-only, interactive horror shows to family-friendly variety shows and everything in between. And if that wasn’t enough, there are also amusement arcades, crazy golf, ice skating, a casino and more bars, restaurants and shops than you can shake a stick at. A day just isn’t enough!

Just outside the town is the captivating Blackpool Zoo, which is over 50 years old and still has its original residents, Kate, the Asian elephant and Darwin, the giant tortoise. Since then, more than 1,000 animals have joined the zoo, including orangutans, gorillas, penguins, giraffes, elephants and monkeys, to name just a few.

Take a walk on the wild side with a Dinosaur Safari, and check out Gorilla Mountain, Giraffe Heights, Project Elephant, Orangutan Outlook, and Lemur Wood. Wallaby Walkabout is a must, where you can walk through the wallaby and kangaroo enclosure. There is also Wolf Ridge, Big Cat Habitat and Active Oceans, with hugely impressive sea lion shows throughout the season. Children will love the zoo’s farm with ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits and pigs, and you can hop on and off the zoo’s miniature train throughout the day. There is also a three-storey play barn, which is great on rainy days to tire the children out.

No trip to Blackpool would be complete without a good old-fashioned trip to the seaside. As well as Blackpool itself, bucket-list beaches nearby include Cleveleys, Marine Beach, Morecambe and Lytham-St-Annes.

Everyone has to visit Blackpool at some point in their lives, and a caravan holiday to Blackpool promises seaside fun, thrilling rides, beautiful views, unique attractions and a warm welcome, which all add up to create a truly unforgettable holiday.
