The caravan park in South Cerney offers free parking to all guests and is surrounded by pretty as-a-picture lakes which provide great walking and cycling routes. The lakes also play host to pedalos and kayaking, and guests can also try their hand at fishing (a rod licence is required). If you prefer to be in the water rather than on it, why not head to the heated indoor pool - there is a splash pool for the younger ones in the family and a flume for those a bit bigger! The pool is also suitable if you just want to get some lengths in. The outdoor pool is also heated and has sun loungers for those who want to soak up some sun. The kids can burn off some energy on the adventure playground, or the whole family can have a go at basketball or football on the park’s sports courts. The park's adventure golf is fun for all ages! Hoburne Cotswold holiday park also boasts an amusement arcade and an entertainment complex, so you can relax with a drink after all the fun of the day. The Cotswold Wildlife Park is home to a wide selection of birds, mammals, primates and reptiles as well as some stunning gardens. If you’re missing the beach, take a ten-minute drive to Cotswold Country Park & Beach, which has one of the UK’s largest inland beaches as well as an inflatable water park and a whole host of other activities to try. If you want to soak up some history, the famous Blenheim Palace is around 60 minutes away and is packed with things to do, offering families a full day out. Just 15 15-minute drive and you’ll be in Cirencester - famous for its unique shops and historic market (every Monday and Friday). Get lost in the magic of the independent craft stores before sampling some local food in one of the town's eateries.
