Caravan holidays in Exmouth

Exmouth

Exmouth might be one of the oldest seaside towns in Devon, but it is bang up-to-date with its amenities and attractions, making it the perfect destination for a caravan holiday.

Exmouth Caravan Sites For the Perfect Holiday

You can't beat the convenience and value for money of a static caravan holiday, and there are loads of delightful sites in and around Exmouth. So it will be easy to find the perfect holiday park for you, whether you're looking for a site that offers loads of facilities and entertainment or something a little more laid-back, where the sublime surroundings speak for themselves.

So many caravan parks near Exmouth offer facilities such as an on-site shop, a laundry, a pool, a pub and clubhouse, takeaway facilities, and amusement arcades. Some also offer crazy golf, gym facilities, a restaurant, and fishing, including Devon Cliffs Holiday Park, Oakcliff Holiday Park, Golden Sands Holiday Park, Lady's Mile Caravan Park, and Dawlish Sands Holiday Park, which are all within easy reach of Exmouth.

You might be looking for a fun family holiday, romantic getaway for two, or an action-packed group break, but don't worry—Exmouth can cater for all tastes, budgets, and ages. The town itself is known for being vibrant and lively, with a bustling, pedestrianised town centre and indoor market. This makes it the ideal setting for a bit of retail therapy, with plenty of pubs and restaurants to check out if you need a pit stop.

As you would expect from any coastal town in Devon, Exmouth has a fantastic beach with two miles of golden sand, attracting families, couples, and groups alike. Whether you're looking to go for a romantic stroll, a family picnic, or to try your hand at some watersports, Exmouth Beach has it all.

Places To Visit From Holiday Parks In Exmouth

Talking of activities, if you want to get active, you've come to the right place. Exmouth Watersports, Sea Kayak Exmouth, and Red Rock Leisure all offer an excellent selection of watersports, including kayaking, paddleboarding, and windsurfing. The popular game of foot golf is also available on the Exe.

Visitors can enjoy a walking tour of Exmouth. They will get some fresh air and exercise, learn more about the town's fascinating history, and take in some breathtaking views along the way. Stuart Line Cruises offer a more sedate way to experience the beautiful Jurassic coastline with trips to Torquay, Exeter, and right along the coast. So remember your camera for some fantastic pictures to help remember your visit.

Another enjoyably serene way to travel is along the Seaton Tramway, which takes in three miles of unspoilt countryside along the Axe Valley. Trains run from Seaton, Colyford, and Colyton, and two nature reserves are along the way, so it's well worth keeping an eye out for all kinds of wading birds and other species. While you're here, stop off for a refreshing drink and a snack at the Tramstop Café.

The World of Country Life is a day out for the whole family, offering a fabulous all-weather attraction. Visitors can hand-feed red deer and llama, walk the goats, pet the rabbits, guinea pigs, and gerbils, bottle-feed lambs and calves, watch the ferret show, and see the flying birds on display.

Children will love the indoor and outdoor play areas, which feature jumping pillows, diggers, crazy golf, dodgems, and puzzle trails to keep them entertained. There is the Museum of Farming and the vintage vehicle collection for the grown-ups. For everyone, there is the food barn, which serves delicious, locally sourced, homemade food and ice cream from Farmer Tom's.

Exmouth offers all the perfect ingredients for an unforgettable holiday, including beaches, history, walking, wildlife, watersports, family attractions, bustling towns and villages and great local produce. One visit just isn't enough!
