There is also a wet play zone with water features, so the little ones can get involved in the watery fun too!
Walk to the Beach
One of the best things about Trecco Bay Holiday Park is that you can walk to the sandy beach in less than five-minutes!
And once you’re there, you’ll find that Trecco Bay Beach is popular with locals and visitors for a reason…the pristine waters and well-looked-after sands make this one of the best beaches in Wales, and it have held a Blue Flag Award for 14 years, in a row!
The beach is known for its pristine waters and families can enjoy a day of paddling, building sandcastles, or just laying back and relaxing on the beach which is certainly helped by knowing there are lifeguards on Trecco Bay Beach from May – Sept.

You’ll find a variety of restaurants on Trecco Bay Holiday Park, from popular chains like Burger King to Parkdean Resorts’ very own Aloha Surf Bar & Restaurant and the Pavillion, where you can slow down and grab a Costa Coffee or cool down with a treat from the self-serve ice-cream station.
Explore the Nearby Nature Reserve
Merthyr Mawr Nature Reserve is a collection of sand dunes that is 6.1 miles from Trecco Bay Holiday Park. You can see the 200ft ‘Big Dipper’, the highest dune in Wales here.
The quaint little village of Merthyr Mawr is 5.3 miles away from the reserve and is perfect for a relaxed stroll before or after visiting the dunes.
