    Cornwall Christmas Fair

    One of the most popular visitor attractions not just in Cornwall but in the UK, The Eden Project hosts the Cornwall Christmas Fair on November 27-28.

    The fair promises a whole host of festive goodies, from stalls selling Christmas gifts, homeware, jewellery, and artwork in the Eden Kitchen to local food and drink suppliers who will showcase their delicious festive offerings in the Cornwall Bakers’ Food Hall.

    Cornish Christmas Market

    Another Cornwall Christmas events calendar highlight is the Cornish Christmas Market from December 13-15.

    Held at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge, the market will feature a host of festive stalls offering unique Christmas gifts for friends and loved ones, seasonal food and drink, including mulled wine and edible festive treats.

    There will also be a giant Christmas tree, reindeer, and a visit from the man of the moment, Father Christmas, with carol singers and street performers helping to create a wonderful Christmas vibe.

    Truro Christmas Market

    Truro Christmas Market, known as the ‘Big’ Christmas Market, attracts visitors from far and wide and this year is being held from November 22 – December 24, giving plenty of time to enjoy an impressive selection of festive stalls selling everything from natural Christmas wreaths, hand-made gifts, unique jewellery and ethical, sustainable products as well as locally sourced cheese, fish, meat, condiments and sweet treats as well as regional craft ales and ciders, artisan spirits and Cornish wine.

    There is no way you’ll leave this market empty-handed, and thanks to the themed bars, you will definitely be well into the Christmas spirit, too!

    Fowey Christmas Festival

    The quaint harbour town of Fowey hosts its own Fowey Christmas Festival, which this year runs from November 22-24.

    It is spread across Fowey Town Quay, Albert Quay, and Webb Street, with just under 100 traders offering the ultimate in Christmas shopping, with everything from hand-made arts and crafts to locally sourced food and drink.

    Family-friendly activities and live entertainment throughout the event will help put you in a festive mood. The festivities kick off in style with Father Christmas and the Fowey Town Band parading through the town to the background of live music and street performers.

    Porthleven Christmas Market

    Another smaller market in Cornwall is the Porthleven Christmas Market (November 29 – December 1).

    Held in the Shipyard Market, the captivating backdrop of the harbour, especially illuminated for Christmas, helps to create a really lovely festive ambiance.

    In addition to the opportunity for the kids to meet Father Christmas, stallholders from all over the region will showcase their wares, from authentic Cornish candles to sea-inspired jewellery and accessories, which will all add up to bring guests a truly traditional Cornish Christmas.

    Bedruthan Christmas Fayre

    Small but perfectly formed is the Bedruthan Christmas Fayre from November 23 to 24, which traditionally marks the beginning of Cornwall’s Christmas festivities.

    Overlooking the stunning beach at Mawgan Porth, the fayre promises workshops, family-friendly activities, artisan stalls selling festive arts and crafts, and special, one-off gifts you won’t find anywhere else.
