The Yorkshire Dales National Park comprises 994 square miles of some of the most stunning landscapes you’ll find anywhere, including ancient forests, majestic waterfalls, gentle hills and slopes, and a whole load of historical monuments and landmarks.

The national park is home to castles such as Ripley, Bolton, and Skipton, which all help to bring to life Yorkshire’s rich and varied history.

For something altogether more dramatic but equally memorable, visit the Peak District National Park. It offers a stark contrast between the White Peak, characterised by gentle slopes, and the Dark Peak, identifiable by its rugged landscape.

With 554 square miles of incredible terrain to discover, walks, trails, and hikes in this area are rewarded with some simply sublime scenery.
