Places to visit during Sunnysands holidays
One of Wales’ most popular attractions - Portmeirion - is a 30 minute drive away. The Village was built with the vision of a Mediterranean piazza in mind by Clough Willams-Ellis and the colourful buildings have been attracting visitors for decades. Fancy trying to surf? Just over an hour’s drive from the park is Surf Snowdonia - the only Wavegarden surfing experience and has been welcoming people to try the experience since 2015. As well as amazing surf facilities, there is also a surf shop and food available. The town centre of Barmouth is a ten minute drive away and has a selection of shops, an art gallery and places to eat and drink.
