Harbour House (Private Land)

Harbour House is an isolated site with a laidback feel ideal for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Why Book a Stay Harbour House?

The pet-friendly site is on private land, lending to its isolated feel. It boasts breathtaking panoramic views of the grasslands and coastline surrounding this well-located site. It is also within walking distance of a family-friendly beach, with access to Traeth Bychan, less than a 5-minute walk away.

Things to Do During a Stay at Harbour House:

Just minutes away from Harbour House, Traeth Bychan is a unique shop-café-pizzeria combination that provides everything you need to enjoy the nearby beach. There is outdoor seating where you can enjoy a wood-fired pizza or cool off with an ice cream while taking in the beautiful views of the surrounding area. The shop also sells wetsuits, paddleboards, kayaks, and other beach essentials to ensure you’re fuelled and stocked up for a fun-filled day.

The two small villages of Benllech and Moelfre can be accessed via the beautiful Anglesey Coastal Path. Benllech is around 2 miles away, and Moelfre is even closer to 1.5 miles from Harbour House. The walk between the two villages is around 4.5 miles and dog- and child-friendly. It takes you along the coastline of this gorgeous island.

Anyone looking for a more challenging walk might want to visit Traeth Coch Pentraeth, around 6 miles from Harbour House. The trail takes you through sections of coast and forest, ensuring you get a feel for the incredible landscapes this island offers.

Slightly farther than the beach fun waiting back at Harbour House, this is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and a trip here makes it easy to see why. It’s a great spot to see wildlife, from squirrels to birds and wading birds. Geology lovers will enjoy the limestone plateau, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
