If you're looking for an outing to keep the adults happy and have a sneaky pint at the same time, then pay a visit to St Austell Brewery. The brewery has a fascinating history dating back to 1851. The brewery now owns 180 pubs in the southwest of England, and visitors can enjoy an intriguing brewery tour and sample some of the delicious amber nectar.

No trip to St Austell is complete without visiting the Eden Project, Cornwall's most popular visitor attraction. The project is known worldwide for raising awareness of environmental issues, and it was created from a disused clay pit more than 20 years ago.
